Ahmed Baitem is a Palestinian visual artist born in Acre in the 1920s. He emigrated to Lebanon after the 1948 Nakba. A well respected artist he was contracted by the Saudi Fine Art Institutes as a teacher. He finished his career as a teacher at the Intermediate Institute of Fine Arts in Riyadh. He was the teacher of the first generation of Saudi artists, and he was the inspiration for the great artist Ali Rizeza, He held many solo and joint exhibitions in Saudi Arabia. More on Ahmed Baitem
