Cheryl Cusick consistently won or achieved major placing, in every competition she has recently entered. Her list of awards is truly outstanding and a testament to both her popularity and talent.

As far back as 1969, Cheryl has been involved in the Arts. Working as an art teacher Cheryl has taught all ages. She has been involved with TAFE, Secondary, W.E.A., National Arts School, and the Waratah School for Deaf Children. She has worked hard as a project officer in the Community Youth Support Scheme as well as privately developing the skills of young artists for many years. Cheryl was also a Medical illustrator for both the University of Newcastle and Newcastle Hospital.

Cheryl now devotes all of her time to her own artistic endeavours. Cheryl’s paintings proudly hang in collections all over the world.

Her most recent works are a true reflection of the connection she has with Australia’s natural environment. Based on the interaction of all the elements, Cheryl’s work captures the texture and colour of our landscape in a way that can only be described as inspirational. More on Cheryl Cusick
